Terms of Service

  • Before the Officiant can perform the ceremony, the Couple must present a valid marriage license, as well one of the following forms of photo identification for both Spouses:
Drivers license
State-Issued ID card
Military ID card

All ID's must be current (not expired). Failure of the Couple to present the required documents will result in  the Officiant not being able to perform the ceremony.
  • The Officiant reserves the right not to perform any ceremony she is uncomfortable with.
  • There is a $50 short-notice fee added to the ceremony fee in cases where Couples book us with less than 48 hours from the wedding ceremony time.
  • There is a $100 rescheduling fee charged if the Couple changes their wedding date, time, or location after booking, with rescheduling subject to the Officiant's availability/ability to accommodate their changes (and with possible additional fees applying based on the particular nature of the changes).
  • There is a $50 holiday fee for ceremonies booked for the following holidays:
New Years Eve/Day - December 31st/January 1st
Easter Sunday
Memorial Day - Last day of May
Independence Day - July 4th

Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Eve/Day - December 24th-25th
  • Couple is expected to cooperate with in the ceremony approval process by providing the Officiant with all requested feedback needed to finalize the ceremony by the due date given to the Couple following their receipt of the initial ceremony draft. Couple understands that failure to provide said feedback by the stated date constitutes permission by the couple for the Officiant to complete the ceremony using her best judgment (based on the available data regarding their needs), which draft will then be emailed to them and considered approved by the couple as their final ceremony draft.

  • With regards to large/formal ceremonies, the Couple is responsible for ensuring a timely start to their ceremony and understands that all bookings (unless additional time is specifically contracted for at the time of booking) are for exactly 1 hour from the Couple's specified ceremony start time. If, therefore, the Couple is late in starting the ceremony (regardless of the nature of the circumstances resulting in the delay), whatever time it extends beyond the specified start time will cut into the Couple's photo time with the Officiant following the ceremony. Furthermore, the couple understands that the Officiant will leave promptly should the ceremony still not have begun by 1 hour past the specified ceremony start time, and agrees that under such circumstances he will be considered to have fulfilled her obligation to the Couple, that the Couple will not be eligible for a refund, and that the Officiant will be NOT be held liable for any damages (including punitive) due to the non-performance of the ceremony.

  • With regards to small/informal ceremonies, the Officiant will leave if the Couple is more than 20 minutes late in arriving, and agrees that under such circumstances the Officiant will be considered to have fulfilled her obligation to the couple, that the Couple will not be eligible for a refund, and that the Officiant will be NOT be held liable for any damages (including punitive) due to the non-performance of the ceremony.

  • If the Couple books the Officiant for participation in a rehearsal, unless otherwise contracted for, that booking is for 1 hour.

  • Above fees are estimates based on typical wedding ceremony scenarios, and are subject to adjustment, depending on varying circumstances under which the ceremony must be performed (e.g. venue located in a remote area, Couple requesting Officiant to perform additional services following the ceremony, etc.). A final fee quote will be provided to Couple after reviewing the couple's needs.

  • Unless otherwise contracted, the Officiant agrees to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony, and will stay up to 30 minutes after the ceremony, for the purpose of posing for photos with the Couple.
  • All fees are due at time of booking.
  • All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE, except in the event of the Officiant having to cancel due to unavoidable circumstances, in which case the Couple will be issued a full refund. In the unlikely event that the Officiant is unable to perform the ceremony (due to illness, hospitalization, family emergency, traffic jam, transportation breakdown, or any other unforeseeable causes), he will make every possible attempt to notify the Couple. In such a case, the Couple will receive a full refund, and the couple agrees that the Officiant will NOT be held liable for any damages (including punitive) due to the non-performance of the ceremony.
  • We provide a written contract and accept cash payments for in-person consultations only. Otherwise, all payments must be made online through PayPal using a credit card or debit card, in which case an abbreviated contract will be included in the invoice, with payment of the invoice constituting the Couple's acknowledgment that they have read and agree to these Terms of Service.
  • If the Couple's wedding venue requires payment of an admission fee, the Couple is responsible for covering this fee for the Officiant. The Officiant, however, is responsible for paying her own parking fees.
  • All ceremony fees are subject to change prior to booking.
  • The Officiant does not wear a boutonnière as it is not consistent with her clergy apparel. Unless retained for a Theme Wedding which involves a special costume to be worn by the Officiant, for formal wedding she will wear a black dress (with a black jacket or coat, as appropriate, for outdoor weddings during cold or inclement weather).
  • Booking Chattanooga Wedding Officiants constitutes the right for us to use any images we take of the event for marketing purposes, unless a written request revoking that right is submitted to us prior to the date of the event.
